I was able to visit the New Hampshire Renaissance Faire this year on May 21st & 22nd, 2011. It was a small, temporary faire, but it was still a lot of fun.
A local re-enactment group, The Neville Companye (A part of the British Plate Armour Society, a re-enactment group based in England, focusing on the 14th and 15th century.), which portrays a military unit during the War of the Roses, set up a historical encampment:
They even gave a fighting demonstration:

The faire is held on private property, with curious locals:
All in all, a very relaxing day!
I even managed to defeat a baby dragon:
